Guide for law firms · 3 min read
How your law firm gets listed
Who appears on our probate and estate pages, how attorneys qualify a firm, and when a metro gets its own page.
Who we list
We list firms that handle probate, wills, trusts and estates. A firm appears when at least one of its attorneys is active on the state bar's roster, or, in states whose bar publishes no roster, holds an ACTEC, NELF or board certification.
Listing is free. You don't need to sign up or pay to appear.
When a metro page appears
A metro gets its own page once at least three firms there qualify. Firms are listed nearest first, and families can re-sort them by how many attorneys are on the bar roster.
If your firm is missing
Email corrections@honestfarewell.org with the firm's name, office addresses and each attorney's bar number. We check the bar roster and add or fix the listing, usually within 5 business days.

Premium adds a fuller profile and a labeled sponsored spot on your local pages. It never changes the order of a list.
