List your cremation services clearly
Families compare cremation line by line. Make it easy for them, and for us, to see exactly what your package includes.
How we compare cremation
Our cremation pages compare one package at a time. For direct cremation that usually means the basic services fee, transfer of the person, the cremation itself, a basic container and the return of the remains.
If your list doesn't let us price the whole package, we don't fill the gap with a guess. Your home then shows "Call for a quote".
Make your package easy to read
- Name the package and list what's in it, item by item.
- Show the crematory fee and the container separately, or say they're included.
- List what costs extra: death certificates, permits, a witnessed cremation, an urn, a later memorial.
- If you offer water cremation (aquamation), price it as its own package.
Then tell us
Publish the updated list on your website and send the link to corrections@honestfarewell.org.
